Navigating Life's Transitions
Post-Divorce
Wow, life isn’t turning out the way you thought it would and things like co-parenting, dating, finances, and being alone are a big adjustment. Even if you wanted the divorce there is healing to do, dreams to explore, and new relationships to navigate.
Empty Nest
Well, it’s just the two of you now. The house seems quiet and there’s no one to distract you from you or your relationship with your partner. Are you anxious to reconnect or are you looking at each other asking “who are you?”
Career Change
Deciding to re-enter the workforce, change careers, or start your own business brings its own set of challenges. From feeling “not good enough” to brushing up your resume and prepping for interviews, it’s time to chase your dream.
Transition Is Moving From the Old to the New
And that means your next move can be your best move.
Life Can Bring So Many Changes:
- Solo parenting and co-parenting
- Loss of friends/family relationships
- Enforcing terms of your settlement
- Re-entering the job market or changing careers
- Redefining yourself or your relationship
- Dating and sex
- Managing money, taxes and retirement planning
- Loneliness
- and so much more…
Hi, I'm Debra
I’m a CDC Certified Divorce Coach® and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. I’ve been through 2 divorces, have been a single parent, a co-parent, and a step-parent. I’ve also been a stay-at-home parent, worked part-time, full-time and started my own business.
I’ve successfully transitioned through many difficult life changes and I can help you too. Together we can discover what you truly want out of this next phase of your life and create a plan to make it happen. Life transitions are a great opportunity to point yourself in a new direction.

Life After Divorce
The papers are all signed and the divorce is final, but you still have pieces of your life to put back together. Especially if your divorce was difficult, you’re trying to co-parent with a high-conflict partner, or you’re adjusting to living on less. A successful post-divorce recovery is about more than just balancing your budget and your schedule. It’s about looking back at the lessons you learned and moving ahead to create a life that feels good to you. Life after divorce might mean opening yourself up to new experiences like dating, a career change or business opportunity, and new friendships. This is your chance to reboot.
It's Just Us Now
School, sports, schedules, and parenting can easily become the center of our lives when raising children. But what happens when they leave for college or take off on their own? Is it time rediscover who you are and what you want out of life? If you were used to putting yourself last, this is your opportunity to prioritize your own needs and seek your own happiness. Or maybe you and your partner realize how far you’ve drifted apart and want to find a way to reconnect. This new phase of life is the perfect chance to re-evaluate where you’ve been and make adjustments so the next phase of life can be your most fulfilling yet.
